Is it time for you to move to our new, improved platform? How fun! Here we have gathered all the information about what happens to your e-mail and what you need to do yourself.
What happens to my accounts and messages?
We will move all email accounts that are on your account with us to the new platform. If you use IMAP (most common), all e-mail messages are moved to the new server, and if you use POP3, your messages are saved locally with you, just as usual.
Will my email address stop working?
No. Your email address will work as usual before, during and after the upgrade to the new platform. Should you experience any problems, you are most welcome to contact our support.
Do I need to update the settings in my email client?
After the upgrade is complete (you will receive an email from us telling you when everything is ready), it is good if you update the settings in all your email clients to the new ones that belong to our new platform as soon as possible. The old settings will work for some time after the upgrade, but to avoid possible problems, it is good if you review your settings as soon as possible.
What do I need to change in my email client?
You need to change the following settings in your email client:
Incoming email
Server: imap.websupport.se Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL/TLS
Outgoing e-mail
Server: smtp.websupport.se Port: 587
Encryption method: SSL/TLS

Do I need to do anything if I just use webmail?
No, you do not need to change any settings in the webmail. You log in as usual with your username and password.
