You can use an SFTP client to connect with the secure SSH protocol, such as WinSCP.
Connecting with WinSCP
- In the host field, enter the server address – by default yourdomain.se or the IP address set for your FTP account
- Leave the port number as 22
- Enter your login name in the Username field. You can set this in the administration interface
- Enter your password
- Keep SFTP as the default in the Transmission Protocol dropdown
- Click Login to complete the connection.
- After logging in, go to the top Session menu and save the current connection by clicking Save Workspace – you won’t need to enter the details again next time you start the program. You can access saved connections from the original dialog: Session > Workspaces
- To disconnect from the server, go to the top connection menu and select Disconnect
